Keeping vintage alive

RESTORING OLD TO NEW

Owen is the founder of Audio Euphoria, a hi-fi repair and restoration service based at The Laneway studios here in Geraldton, Western Australia.

He specializes in servicing and repairing hi-fi stereo equipment including amplifiers, receivers, turntables, cassette decks, CD players, and more. Whether it's a treasured vintage system passed down through generations or a modern setup in need of fine-tuning,

He was born and raised in Geraldton, and grew up surrounded by the sounds of vinyl, cassette tapes and CDs playing through old-school stereo systems. As a kid, he was always pulling apart radios, amps, speakers—anything he could get his hands on. That early fascination turned into a lifelong passion for electronics and audio equipment, and eventually led him to become a qualified electrician.

But the real turning point came when he moved to Europe. While working there, he had the chance to connect with a community of highly skilled audio technicians—people who had been restoring and repairing high-fidelity audio gear for decades.

Music has a unique power to move us, and I believe that every listener deserves to hear it in full detail—just as the artist intended.

Connect with the music

After years overseas, it was time to come home—and he brought those skills and that passion with him. That’s how Audio Euphoria was born: a place where people who truly love music can bring their cherished audio gear to be restored, repaired, or upgraded with care.

He takes pride in offering honest, high-quality workmanship that puts sound and satisfaction first, proud to bring his experience and dedication to the Geraldton community and always looks forward to helping you get the very best out of your audio equipment!

IT ALL STARTED WAY BACK WHEN:

Under their guidance, I deepened my knowledge of audio circuitry, signal paths, and the delicate art of breathing new life into vintage equipment. I worked on everything from 1970s tube amps to modern integrated systems, learning the importance of precision, patience, and above all, preserving the soul of a machine.
